Juice WRLD Offers Up Another Single With ‘Hear Me Calling’: Listen

Juice WRLD’s sophomore album Death Race for Love is slated to drop next week. Before the release date gets here, the Chicago native decided to deliver another single from the anticipated effort with the Purps on the Beat-produced track “Hear Me Calling” on Friday (March 1).

The 20-year-old continues to touch on themes surrounding wretched heartbreak, but the island-tinged single sounds like it could’ve been packaged as a bonus track from Drake’s 2016 Views album. “Where in the fuck did you think you were going/ Foldin’ and packin’ your clothes like you ain’t know I was gon’ unfold it/ Wine glass full of your emotions/ Oh, pinot grigio, sippin’, beautiful, heaven-soul woman,” he painfully warbles.

“Hear Me Calling” follows “Robbery,” which was released in February and kicked off the PlayStation-inspired album’s rollout. Juice WRLD will also be hitting the roadalongside Ski Mask the Slump God for a slew of North American shows, once he returns from assisting on Nicki Minaj’s European tour. The trek will begin north of the border in Vancouver on April 25.
